The Recovery Channel and Addiction Treatment

Congratulations on your journey into recovery! We know that returning home after completing our addiction treatment center can create a multitude of feelings ranging from fear to excitement and everything in between. Our experience has shown us that keeping in touch with the support system you began in addiction treatment can be extremely beneficial, not to mention a lot of fun. Drug and Alcohol Treatment and the Alumni Coordinator

In addition to the Recovery Channel, Stepping Stone Center for Recovery has an alumni coordinator for our drug rehab program. The alumni coordinator will visit with each patient while they are still in drug and alcohol treatment. The goal of these visits will be to establish a relationship with the patient before they complete the drug and alcohol treatment center. Upon completion of alcohol rehab, the alumni coordinator will contact you on a monthly basis to provide additional support. Should any member of our alumni need to talk or require re-admission to Stepping Stone’s addiction treatment program, please call the alumni coordinator at 1-800-237-3150.

Substance Abuse Treatment Resources

After completing Stepping Stone’s substance abuse treatment program it is our hope that all of you will go on to experience a wonderful recovery from your drug addiction and alcoholism. As this process takes place, many of you will find yourselves faced with having to deal with issues not resolved while in substance abuse treatment. To assist you in locating an addiction treatment professional capable of meeting your needs, our alumni coordinator has access to a national substance abuse treatment provider data base. By taking the time to call and explain your newest challenge, the alumni coordinator will assist you in locating the best substance abuse treatment service to meet your needs.

The Newsletter and Your Drug Treatment Center

As patients from all over the country continue to complete our drug treatment center and return home we wanted to develop a vehicle where we could continue to share the message of recovery with them. The decision was to design an addiction treatment newsletter. The focus of the newsletter will be to continually update alumni regarding any changes in the addiction treatment center, as well as, furnish them with recovery related material. We encourage all of the alumni to participate in the development of this addiction treatment newsletter by contacting the alumni coordinator at the number listed above.
